UC3842 IC is a current Mode PWM Controller, meaning it can be used to provide a constant current by varying the output voltage to the load. This IC features a trimmed oscillator for precise duty cycle control, a temperature compensated reference, a high gain error amplifier, a current sensing comparator, and a high current totem pole output for driving a Power MOSFET.
