S9014 is a widely used NPN silicon BJT transistor. This is a low noise high gain transistor, the maximum DC current gain of the transistor is 1000. The high gain and low noise feature makes this transistor ideal to use in audio pre amplification or to amplify a very low level of audio to high level with noise filtration. It can also be used to amplify any type of small or low level signal to high level. Moreover it can also perform well in RF circuits under 150MHz. The max collector dissipation of 400mW also makes it capable to drive a small 2 to 3 inch 4 Ohms or 8Ohms speaker
