L7805 is a commonly used voltage regulator that provides a stable 5V output. It is part of the L78xx family of linear voltage regulators.

Input Voltage Range:
Minimum: 7V
Maximum: 25V
The input voltage should always be higher than the output voltage by at least 2V for proper regulation.
