Desoldering wire (also known as desoldering braid or solder wick) is a fine, braided copper wire coated with flux that is used to remove unwanted solder from electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Length: ~3 meters (approx. 10 feet)Width: Common options include 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm or 3.5 mm
Material: Fine braided copper strands (often oxygen-free copper) for good thermal conductivity and solder wicking
Flux Treatment: Pre-applied rosin flux or rosin-mildly activated (RMA) on the braid to improve solder absorption and reduce oxidation
